Ok now I’m reading the book I am actually really mad at all the people who said she shouldn’t have been cast as being black. In the book she’s clearly described as been dark-haired, dark-eyed, dark-skinned, etc. The only problem I had with her casting was that I imagined Rue to be a bit younger, but then that’s probably more to do with the fact that I have little concept of age. I.e. I can’t remember being 12 years old and think that you still play with dolls at that age :L
And actually she’s one of my favourite characters!
